Brian Bjordal, President and CEO

Brian Bjordal (born 1953) has a BSc in civil engineering from Edinburgh's Heriot-Watt University in the UK. Before becoming chief executive of Gassco, he was with StatoilHydro from 1984 and held a number of posts there. These included head of the Kårstø processing complex and senior vice president for the Troll/Sleipner business cluster. He has been involved in serveral development phases for Norway's gas transport system.

Kristin Kinn Kaste, vice president technology
Born in 1976, Ms Kaste received an MSc in chemical process engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in 1999. She transferred in 2002 from Statoil to Gassco when the latter took over as operator, and has participated since then in the further development of the company. Her particular focus has been on establishing and performing analyses and studies relating to operation and development of the gas transport network, and on building expertise and developing new technology.
