Restored gas exports after Sleipner shutdown

Norwegian gas exports are back to normal after the Sleipner shutdown, monday 11 July.

Technical challenges at the Sleipner field, monday 11th and Tuesday 12th July, resulted in a full shutdown, including Sleipner Riser. Sleipner is a key hub in the gas transport system, and the incident therefore had direct consequences for the gas flow from Nyhamna processing plant and the receiving terminals Easington and Zeebrugge.

Equinor is the field operator for the Sleipner field and any questions related to the incident itself must be addressed to Equinor.
